The Indo-Australian Business Club (IABC) has been established with the objective of creating effective business, cultural and people-to-people link between India and Australia. IABC has been operating with the support of an Advisory Board consisting of people with eminence in the industry and government and from both India and Australia.
IABC has now emerged as the young and fast growing organization in the Indo-Australian space focusing on business matching, young entrepreneurship and technology. IABC believes that Innovation, brand development and youth power provide the triangle within which Indo-Australian business can be redefined to grow substantially in future.
IABC has established huge network of contacts in both the countries and this has helped our members to do successful business in the bilateral space. From small enterprises to multinational companies, Government organisations and Education Institutions, IABC’s membership covers a broad spectrum of industries and government and from both the countries – India and Australia.
On an average IABC is helping 3 Indian companies to successfully establish their office in Australia every month and several Indian companies are seeking our help in expanding their business in Australia. On the reverse side, a minimum of 5 Australian companies are seeking our help in expanding their business in the Indian market and that number is growing.
Among our recent events, IABC organized a rich and productive Networking Seminar on 25th June 2016 at Chennai and nearly 100 delegates participated in the event from all over South India. The event had scintillating presentations from Mr. Archie Monteiro (Melbourne, Australia), CA Jomon K. George (ICAI SIRC Chairman), Mr. Vijayakumar I.A.S. (MD, ELCOT) and Mr. R. Vignesh (Director, Sri Kailash Logistics).
IABC will soon be bringing out a Handbook on “Indo-Australian Business 2019” with profiles and contact details of all our members along with a wide ranging useful information on both India and Australia.
The over 600,000 NRIs in Australia is playing a significant role in connecting their country of adoption with their country of origin. Many of them are first generation Indians and looking at every possibility of investing in business, real estate and capital market in India. They are also helping several Australian brands to expand into the Indian market. IABC is working with them as well to facilitate the Indo-Australian trade and investment.
